Specialist Dementia care

Living with dementia can have a significant emotional, social, psychological and practical impact on a person. Dementia is often described as a sequence of losses and adjusting to these changes can be extremely challenging for the person living with the condition as well as their family and friends.

Friends and family members adjust to the effects dementia has on them and often the change from being a husband, friend or child to becoming a caregiver is gradual and as such friends and family members may not identify themselves as carers.

Dementia is constantly changing and carers need to cope with both the caring demands and the emotional impact of the person's dementia and as dementia progresses balancing supporting the person's emotional needs with their own can become very difficult. It can be beneficial in these circumstances to enlist the services of professionals and care services.

Quality assurance and Governance systems

Ensuring you receive the best possible service is crucial and we have systems and processes in place to help us achieve this.

Our team use our smart and innovative care and monitoring systems to coordinate your care so that care assistants have more time to spend with you rather than completing paperwork.

We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and have strict procedures in place which are regularly checked and updated in line with best practice.

Next Steps

The next step is for one of our highly professional nursing team to meet with you and those involved to complete a free Dementia care assessment of the requirements and answer any questions. This can take place at your home or in an alternative setting.

We then use the care assessment to write our bespoke care and support plan outlining the care requirements for each person we support and the daily routine for the care assistant, and once everything is agreed support and care can begin.

Call us today to ask about our care services and how we can best support you. We’re here to help.
